Difference between input masks and validation rule!!!

Difference between input masks and validation rule!!!

In Microsoft Aceess there are 2 aspects that you can design your database which is input masks and the validation rule. Both of these aspects are pretty much the same thing it is only allowing the user to type a specific thing only and noting else. The difference is is that input masks allow to write any thing in input masks for the particular reason. But with validation rule u have to use what is given, for example, for gender you have use m, f, or u, m= male, f= female or u = unknown.

Building a Relationship

Building a Relationship!!!

In Microsoft Access we had to build a relationship, a relationship is a relational database which is powerful because it allows you to gather information together in a query, for or report. Relationships are the link between the information from numerous tables that are been collated. There are 3 types of relationships, the 3 are one-to-many relationships, many-to-many relationships and one-to-one relationships. Creating a relatioship is easy first open your 'relational' datatbase containg five table and then copy of each of them look below this is the final product

The difference between queries and filtering

The Difference Between Queries and Filtering!!!

Queries and filters both refine a group of messages into a subset, but queries yield a subset of all the messages in the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site database, while filtering yields a subset of the messages currently displayed in ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer. For example, if there are 1,000 messages in the Configuration Manager 2007 site database, you could define a query that returns 541 of those messages to ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer. You could then filter these messages so that only 17 are displayed.
