Difference between input masks and validation rule!!!

Difference between input masks and validation rule!!!

In Microsoft Aceess there are 2 aspects that you can design your database which is input masks and the validation rule. Both of these aspects are pretty much the same thing it is only allowing the user to type a specific thing only and noting else. The difference is is that input masks allow to write any thing in input masks for the particular reason. But with validation rule u have to use what is given, for example, for gender you have use m, f, or u, m= male, f= female or u = unknown.

Building a Relationship

Building a Relationship!!!

In Microsoft Access we had to build a relationship, a relationship is a relational database which is powerful because it allows you to gather information together in a query, for or report. Relationships are the link between the information from numerous tables that are been collated. There are 3 types of relationships, the 3 are one-to-many relationships, many-to-many relationships and one-to-one relationships. Creating a relatioship is easy first open your 'relational' datatbase containg five table and then copy of each of them look below this is the final product

The difference between queries and filtering

The Difference Between Queries and Filtering!!!

Queries and filters both refine a group of messages into a subset, but queries yield a subset of all the messages in the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site database, while filtering yields a subset of the messages currently displayed in ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer. For example, if there are 1,000 messages in the Configuration Manager 2007 site database, you could define a query that returns 541 of those messages to ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer. You could then filter these messages so that only 17 are displayed.

1.    What is the difference between raw data and information?
Raw data is just info which is just data which needs to be structured to be useful. Information is the data that can be used for a particular use
2.    Provide a definition of what a database is?
Is a collection of data which is structured, to be sorted, searched and analysed
3.    Give examples of what a database can do?
Sales, Inventory, Clients
4.   Information is very valuable to organisations, what might an organisation use a database for?
Track Sales and Clients
5.   Give examples of how Brentwood uses databases to store your information.
Contact Details, Academic Results, Absence
6.    What does DBMS stand for?
Database management system
7.    Give three examples of names for DBMS software
Oracle, Microsoft access, file maker pro
8.    What type of websites have databases at their back end?
Store and organise, social websites
9.    Databases can store not only text but also other media files such as….

We were told what was needed to put on our slides, they were, 3 hacking terms, positive consequences of hacking, negative consequences of and as well as research about a hacker!

 What was interesting?
The interesting bit was researching about my hacker!! Because he was the first person to get convicted with hacking in Australia

What I liked about it?
It was that i learnt new things, for example grey hat hackers, who they are, and what they are for?

Binary Code!

Whtz Up Homies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In Cyber Forensic we learnt how to use binary code! For me this a ticking bomb in my head. Its complicating and a bit hard to understand, but maybe we a bit of practice i guess i could get it. The definition for binary code is that it represents text on a computer processor instructions using the binary system, there are only two numbers that are in use, 0 and 1 Look Below to see what we did!!!

What is Cyber Forensics?

Cyber Forensics, is an application or an investigation from a computer device.

It is used in an investigation, to find out the information, which is either assaults or other illegal acts. Which is then used as evidence then presented to court.

What are your thoughts of Cyber Forensics, the subject? Are looking forward to this unit?

My thoughts about Cyber Forensics is that it seems fun and investigation is something that I love to do. I am looking forward to this unit, I want to see what i can learn out this unit.

Have you used Excel before? What can you do with it?
